Although I have been to Vegas many of times, this trip was a first for me.
I went to my first professional boxing match. Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner.
The atmosphere was amazing. The arena was full of celebrities and industry people.
Almost makes you feel as if you are apart of the scene as well.
During my short stay in Vegas, I stayed at the Treasure Island Hotel. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. For dinner I ate at one of the restaurants located inside the hotel named, Gilley's Saloon. The restaurant is a BBQ style place, with a mechanical bull for some fun entertainment. However I did not have BBQ. I had the apple chicken salad. The salad was huge, I might add! Enough for two people to eat. Not only was I pleased with the portion but it was quite tasty as well. I would recommend this restaurant as it is family friendly or a nice place to just enjoy good conversation and an adult beverage with friends.
The next day, I tried the House of Hash, which is located inside of the Linq Hotel for breakfast.
If you are looking for a quick in and out place..... this is not the place! Besides the wait of about 45 minutes to an hour, I give the establishment a thumbs up. I had the chicken and waffles plate and it was just ok. I have had better but the presentation was amazing! I have eaten here before and my other meal was delicious. Although I didn't care for this dish, other dishes are tasty. I would eat here again as I enjoyed the atmosphere, staff and food.
As always, Vegas was great! This was a quick short get -a-way for the weekend to watch the fight. Vegas never disappoints. Thank you for stopping by and until next time.
